The object of SimFWD is

“The provision of Ship Design and Engineering Services as well as Consultancy, Project Management and Site Supervision”

and for this purpose, the Management and all the staff of the Company are committed to provide our customers with high quality services, fully satisfying their requirements and expectations, as well as any applicable requirements (Legislative / Regulatory, etc.) related to our activities.

To achieve the above:

  • We have designed, developed, and implemented from 01-11-2020, a Quality Management System (QMS) according to the International Standard ISO 9001: 2015
  • We provide all the necessary resources to maintain and continuously improve the efficiency of this Quality System
  • Establish measurable Quality Objectives, the achievement of which, we continuously review and evaluate, during the QMS Reviews by the Management

The Quality Manager (QM) has been appointed is responsible for the effective implementation of the Quality Management System. He represents the Management and has the responsibility for the management of the QMS, by monitoring its smooth operation, the coordination of the arrangement of the problems that arise and the continuous effort to improve it.

This effort for continuous improvement of both the services provided and the efficiency of the System, is a vision and commitment of the Company’s Management and is based on the active participation and mobilization of all employees.

SimFWD is an Engineering, Development & Application Company providing customers with integrated design and engineering services in Maritime / Offshore and Shipbuilding projects, with vessels of different types and size. Our background in Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE), Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) in the Maritime industry has encouraged the development and application of simulation methods to solve the most demanding engineering problems. Over the past few years, SimFWD has successfully completed a large number of Ballast Water Treatment System (BWTS) Retrofit & Scrubber Retrofit Engineering projects involving a variety of System Makers for each. We provide 3D Laser Scanning Services at several ports around the globe. We also address other key areas in the field of Ship Design, like Ship Structural Analysis & Ship Hydrodynamic Analysis and also provide assistance to our Clients in dealing with the new Energy Efficiency Existing Ship Index (EEXI) regulation.
